Events
Event is a generic name for customer meetings under special circumstances, outside the customer site. Common events are participating in trade fairs, customer seminars, inaugurations and customer dinners. What these have in common is that they demand careful planning and clear objectives in order to be successful.
Exhibitions are the most expensive type of event, and therefore needs the most careful planning. At the same time exhibitions is a fantastic opportunity to meet customers, suppliers and competition.
This is accentuated if the fair is located in a different geographic zone than headquarter and production. One should bear in mind that an exhibition events start as soon as the invitations are sent and it does not end until the feedback from the participants is compiled.
